Thermowood Solar Shading Systems

Nature's Aesthetics, Technology's Durability - 100% Eco-Friendly Solution

Solar Control Systems

Energy Efficiency and Eco-Friendly Aesthetic Solutions in Modern Architecture

Solar control systems are among the indispensable elements of modern architecture. These systems, which provide effective protection of buildings from sunlight, both increase energy efficiency and add aesthetic value to structures. They create comfortable living spaces indoors while significantly reducing air conditioning and cooling costs.

Solar control systems produced from eco-friendly and sustainable materials contribute to green building certifications and minimize carbon footprint.

Wooden solar shading systems produced with thermowood technology combine the warmth of natural material with the requirements of modern architecture. These systems, which are completely natural, chemical-free and eco-friendly, are pioneers of sustainable architecture.

What is Thermowood?

Thermowood is a new generation wood product obtained by subjecting wood to heat treatment at 212°C without using any chemicals. As a result of this process:

• Wood moisture content is reduced to 4-7% levels
• Cellulose chains are broken down, eliminating the living environment for fungi
• Material remains completely natural while durability reaches maximum level
• Gains resistance against decay, cracking and deformation
• Natural heat treatment is applied instead of toxic chemicals
